1. 1. Locate the fuel pump relay by looking at the inside of the fuse box cover or the owners manual. Remove the relay and see if the pump stops. If it does, then locate another relay in the same fuse box that has the same part number on it and is not required for engine operation like a wiper motor or AC control relay.
I changed out the fuel pump and now the truck will crank, rev up to around 2,500 rpms and then die like it is starving for fuel. I have been trying to locate the fuel pump relay and cannot find it. Where is that relay located. The fuse panel under the hood has "fuel pump fuse" labeled plain as say, but the relay is nowhere to be found.

Scott-Thanks for the instructions-My 04 e53 stopped with the check code "fuel injector ..-had to get off highway in a hurry as engine stalled.On re start code did not come up.Have had OBD Diagnostic & 1 of the codes was-001 Fuel Pump Relay(EKP) along with 4560/4590-Rail pressure plausibility delivery controlled &3F31-Rail pressure sensor signal.
